TWELVE THOUSAND DAYS “Insect Silence” digi-CD (FM24)

MARTYN BATES (Eyeless In Gaza) & ALAN TRENCH (Orchis, Howling Larsons) return after a long hiatus with the fourth TWELVE THOUSAND DAYS album.
From the opening “Death Went Fishing” (a free translation of “vgíke o cháros na psarépsei”, the classic rebetiko by Giannis Papaioannou) to the closing, haunting notes of “Red And Golden Fire”, the listener is taken on a journey made up of a thousand journeys, a thousand side trips, a thousand destinations, hinging around the sprawling central trip of “Pathless”, in which the ramifications of choices made swim into hazy view. The 13 tracks that make up “Insect Silence” are a concatenation of dulcimers, whistles, guitars, synths and other instrumentation with slices of pure, aching melody echoing through strange darkened corners, all enlivened and enlit by the wondrous tones of Martyn Bates. Limited edition of 500 copies on Digipak.

MARTYN BATES is well-known for his brilliant long-time work with EYELESS IN GAZA, for his solo albums and for collaborations with MICK HARRIS and ANNE CLARK.
ALAN TRENCH: co-founder of World Serpent Distribution and musician with brilliant projects/groups ORCHIS, HOWLING LARSONS, TEMPLE MUSIC.

TEMPLEZONE "Plastic Love" download album (FMD1.17)

"Plastic Love" is a track from Giorgio Ricci's Templezone; the original version has been previously released by Final Muzik on the "Neosphera" album (FM23). "Plastic Love" remix album features six remixes of the title track by six artists from the international electronic scene: Diego Merletto (from The Frozen Autumn), Delenda Noia, Blank, Moreno Padoan (from ArtCore Machine), Jade Kenaz and U.S. artist Evan Friedel. The album also includes two unreleased tracks by Templezone, "Xland" and "Assisted Suicide". A new research journey for this project in order to find new sound forms and languages.

LISFRANK "Elevator" digi-CD (FMLK101)

Lisfrank's "Elevator" album is now available on CD. "Elevator" is one of Final Muzik's best sellers and it was originally pressed on vinyl in December 2014.

Lisfrank is the solo project by Fulvio Guidarelli, the Italian synth-wave musician whose influential "Man Mask" 12" EP and the legendary "First Relation" compilation LP, produced via his own label, Mask Productions, were released respectively in 1982 and 1983. Then, for some reason, Lisfrank disappeared but his unique sound made of electronic synth music, new wave and dark atmospheres remains fresh, original and innovative 30 years on.

Fulvio Guidarelli started to record new songs in 2008, working on them until 2012: the stunning result is "Elevator", Lisfrank's comeback album after more than 30 years! It is a must-have for any new wave, electronic and minimal-synth fan.

Ten new songs with a warm variety of sound that is quite far from the standard of the minimal-synth trend. Anthemic synth-wave tracks ("Resurrection", "Anna O", "War"), melancholic dark electro 'ballads' ("Those Nights"), thrilling instrumental pieces ("Elevator") and much more, all recorded using analogue instruments from the 80's.

The CD reissue includes FIVE bonus tracks: "Frozen Presence (2012 Version)" and four new fantastic remixes. The original artwork by renowned graphic artist Steve Lippert is taken up on the CD reissue. Remastered by Andrea Bellucci (Nerva/Red Sector A) the result is amazing: Lisfrank's sound is more evocative and powerful than ever. Digi-CD, limited edition of 300 copies.

DEISON & MINGLE "Tiliaventum" Box-CD (FMSSD03)

A co-production between the record label Loud! and Final Muzik, "Tiliaventum" developed from an idea by Sandra Tonizzo and experimental/ambient musicians Deison & Mingle, whose aim is to honour the river Tagliamento (in North-Eastern Italy) through sounds, words and images.

Several musicians and friends were invited to contribute: All My Faith Lost…,The Haunting Green, Miss Xox, Matteo Dainese, Tony Longheu (Yton) and Lorelei Facile, Alberto Novello (JersterN), Maba (Len), Anna Comand and Giulia Spanghero.

They all took part in the creation of the eleven ambient/concrete music tracks included in this CD, illustrated by photos and drawings.

Recorded, assembled and mixed at Mingle's Tower Home Studio and at Deison's 1st Floor Studio between May and August 2016. Mastered by Gianclaudio Hashem Moniri. Limited edition of 200 copies with a 16-page booklet, a post-card, pebbly artwork and a little stone from the Tagliamento riverbank!

“Tiliaventum” has been very well received both by the audience and by critics. Renowned Italian journalist Vittore Baroni listed it as one of the best albums of the year 2017 on the music magazine “Blow Up” and so did Marco De Baptistis on the Italian music website “Ondarock”. “A Closer Listen”’s Top Ten Electronic 2017 also included “Tiliaventum” and Richard Allen wrote on the same website: “One holds the stone in the palm and wonders at the impact of a river so beautiful that it turns the music of Deison and Mingle from dark to light. Yes, this is the same duo whose music has been (pleasantly) unsettling people for years.”

TEMPLEZONE "Neosphera" CD (FM23)

TempleZone is Giorgio Ricci, ex member of well-known E.B.M. band Temple Beat during the 90's and then active in various music projects (RAN, Monosonik...). "Neosphera" explores unknown sound-territories that will be familiar to anyone into ambient, neoelectronica, cyber-electronic and post-industrial music. Being a veteran of this scene, Giorgio Ricci is capable of creating a new sonic hybrid born from the new and the old. Imagine a slowed down version of Clock DVA's "Buried Dreams" turning into a post year 2000 modern electronic concept album, or think about one of the best projects of new millennium's digital electronic music invasion becoming darker, evoking mysterious ritual lanscapes and ancestral impulses.

PRIORATVM "Adonis" CD (FM22)

Mirko B. project is finally back with his second CD album. The first one, "Those Who Linger", has been released on the nice Spanish label La Esencia in 2013. But, actually, Prioratvm's very first release was released by us at Final Muzik: it was a limited edition CDr, "Sancta Inquisitio" (2010), that contributed to open few doors for the work of this Italian project. Prioratvm is back to Final Muzik, and what an album! Based on Adonism, this new work explores arcane topics through delicate suggestive melodies and haunting atmospheres, creating a pure kaleidoscope of neoclassical, chamber, gothic, ambient and neofolk music. Featuring Maria Cristina Anzola (The Blue Project) on "Didusch". Brilliant remastering work by Yvan Battaglia. Limited edition of 300 copies.

NERVA "Nerva" CD (FM21)

Nerva is Andrea Bellucci (Red Sector A/Subterranean Source) and Andrea Gastaldello (Mingle).
In Winter 2014/2015, they began to talk about a possible collaboration, whose main focus was to compare their ideas on rhythm and not just that. This is how, after long phone conversations, Nerva and the disc of the same name were created. N.E.R.V.A. stands for the Nuclear Engine for Rocket Vehicle Application, which was used in the famous project for the United States Atomic Energy Commission and NASA from 1960 to 1972.
“Nerva” is an electronic, nervy, restless album. An exploratory trip between two parallel worlds, two different ways of interpreting beat and sound.

From the electronic static of “Landed”, as if it were a long landing phase on the planet Nerva, it moves relentlessly towards the finale, “Obscura Thule”, where rhythm disappears ... Could it be that the journey ends in a land of fire and ice where the sun never sets?

Recorded and mixed by Andrea Gastaldello and Andrea Bellucci at Tower Home Studio and The Box Studio, Italy, between May and July 2015. Mastering: Eraldo Bernocchi. Artwork: Deison. Limited edition of 300 copies.

thisGrey Hates The Sun "thisGrey Hates The Sun" CD (FM20)

Debut album for Italian dark electronics project thisGrey Hates The Sun, after being 'baptised' by Final Muzik with a CD EP split with Corpoparassita two years earlier. This is music for anxious, mute and solitary ghosts; it is a massive, sumptuous, black soundtrack where thrilling, subtle dark ambient meets breathtaking experimental music; music for desolate landscapes and for cold, empty rooms. The first album by Giordano Rivolta (the musician behind thisGrey Hates The Sun) proves that it is possible to describe darkness, alternating powerful 'sound pictures' with fragmented soundscapes captured in slow motion, where the idea of silence and absence becomes part of the music itself. A must have for fans of fine dark ambient music and new spooky electronics.
Limited edition of 300 copies.

DEISON / M.B. "Black Panorama" CD (FMSSD02)

DEISON_MB web.jpg

One of the best collaboration works by Maurizio Bianchi and one of the best albums by Deison. Period. Music for black landscapes. MAURIZIO BIANCHI: “Prologue: the title can already say a lot. When we see ahead of us a view from the inside and we see another, the two views collide and according to our state of mind we can see a negative panorama or a more positive one. That's why this work will help us to regain our peace of mind or to lose it forever, while the view before us remains unchanged”.

Limited to 200 copies only.

DEISON & UGGERI "In The Other House" LP (Fmv 05)

Final Muzik presents a collaboration between our label's backbone DEISON and Italian musician MATTEO UGGERI. It is co-released with Old Bicycle Records and Oak Editions + the artists (through their own respective labels Loud! and Grey Sparkle). It was not born as a concept album but this work by Cristiano Deison and Matteo Uggeri step by step ended up finding itself enclosed between the narrow walls of an exceptional home. Arriving there from different places and positions, never actually meeting, the Friulian and the Milanese found themselves, perhaps in spite of themselves, together in uncomfortable rooms, populated by dark, invisible presences. It is not the scenario of a horror movie, there is no tragedy or fear, just the awareness that the elsewhere or even the escape itself may be less reassuring than one has hoped. Therefore, Francesca Mele's photos, both a seal on the work and a source of inspiration for the music, seem to further cloak the place in that sense of quiet desperation that daily life often implies.
Limited edition of 300 copies.

LISFRANK "Elevator" LP (FMLK100)

December 2014: Final Muzik is proud to announce the release of "Elevator", the new album by Italian electronic music artist Lisfrank.
"When we were young"...but it seems like yesterday when we bought Lisfrank's seminal "Man Mask" 12" EP in 1982 and, a few months later, the legendary "First Relation" compilation LP, produced by Fulvio Guidarelli’s (Lisfrank) own label, Mask Productions. Then, for some reasons, Lisfrank disappeared but he remained one of the most important names in Italian new wave through the decades: his unique sound, made of electronic synth music, new wave and dark atmospheres remains fresh, original and innovative 30 years on.

Then, from the year 2005 something new happened into the independent music scene: a new interest in 80's music started to rise, new labels were established, many old gems got reissued al last, new bands bloomed. It looked like it was just the right time to dust off Lisfrank, so in 2009 the mighty German label Anna Logue paid respect to the man releasing a discography LP+7" album, "Mask Rewind", then re-released on CD in 2012. Lisfrank became a crucial name for the new wave and minimal synth audience again. Fulvio Guidarelli started to record new songs in 2008, working on them until 2012: the stunning result is "Elevator", Lisfrank's comeback album after 32 years!

Pressed on heavy red vinyl, recorded at Masklab (2008-2012), mastered at GS Mastering & Post (Sweden). Composed, recorded and produced by Lisfrank. Cover photos by Vianarch, artwork by Steve Lippert. Co-released with Lisfrank's Masklab Productions.

Limited edition of 500 copies. The first 70 copies include a FREE numbered CD-r single with two extra tracks by Lisfrank.

MAGNETICA ARS LAB / MAURIZIO BIANCHI-M.B. "LoopKlängeNoise" CD+ booklet in slim DVD box (FM19)

MAGNETICA ARS LAB is the musical project founded in Cagliari (Italy) by Arnaldo Pontis, computer specialist and electronic musician, active for a long time in electronic experimentation. He was a member of TH26, Machina Amniotica and many other musical projects. "LoopKlänge Noise" is the marvellous result of his collaboration with the father, founder and precursor of the industrial sound in Italy: MAURIZIO BIANCHI / M.B. Subtitled "Verses Without Words" and inspired by the work of Vasilij Kandinskij concerning a necessary contamination between visual art and music, "LoopKlängeNoise" quotes two important books from Kandinskij’s abstract expressionist years: "Klänge" (Munich, 1912) and "Verses Without Words" (Moscow, 1903). Following the original structure of the latter, Arnaldo Pontis and Maurizio Bianchi recorded 13 double-titled tracks, whose "second title" is a hommage to Kandinskij's 13 pictorial works originally included in the book.

Magnetica Ars Lab and Maurizio Bianchi invited some renowned artists from Italian electronic, experimental and industrial music scenes to collaborate: "LoopKlänge Noise" features the likes of Fausto Rossi / FAUST'O, SIMON BALESTRAZZI (T.A.C.), CORRADO ALTIERI (Uncodified, Monosonik, Th26), RAIMONDO GAVIANO (Svart1), MAUTHAUSEN ORCHESTRA, NICOLA BOARI (SLP), NICOLA LOCCI (Exagonal), MASSIMO OLLA (Noisedelik), ALEX NASI (Colonel XS), ROBERTO BELLI (Brigata Stirner), Kaiser Schnitt Amboss Laszlo and more.

The CD is available in a slim DVD box, with a 16-page booklet containing info and great photos by FABRIZIO TEDDE. All (unpublished) photos were taken by Fabrizio from industrial mining areas of the Sulcis region in Sardinia. The booklet also includes excerpts from writings and quotes by John Cage, Klaus Schulze, Wu Ming, William S. Burroughs, Jean Baudrillard, Luigi Russolo and more.

"We fought for painting, but painting alone will not suffice. I had the idea of a synthetic book that removed half of the old, narrow conceptions, breaking down the walls between the arts.... and finally prove that the problem of art is not a problem of form but a problem of spiritual content." Vasilij Kandinskij

WORDS AND ACTIONS "Time Can't Be Turned Back" CD (FM18)

Words And Actions is a darkly savage synth-duo from Alessandria (Italy), described as "early The Klinik meet paranoid, 'violently meditative', cold 80's minimal synth wave" (!). "Time Can't Be Turned Back" is Words And Actions' debut...and it is their "best of", too! It is a complete collection of tracks, previously distributed in 2011 and 2012 through private cassette and VHS (!) tape releases.

Dark electronics, minimal synth wave, gloomy 'cold wave' melodies. 14 tracks, digi-slim package. Essential, official reissue by Final Muzik, recommended to all lovers of underground minimal synth wave and dark electronica.

APART "Winter Fragments” 2xCDr (FM16)

Trust us: this is one of the best albums ever released by Final Muzik. And...what a precious release!
It is a strictly limited double CDr, a highly professional item with fabulous artwork and packaging (a “large digipak” for double albums). The title "Winter Fragments” sums up two unreleased albums by Apart: “Fragments Of A Cold Broken Day” and “A Winter Project...”. Both put an end to a “phase”, begun with the album “Across The Empty Night” (FM11) and then developed through different (dark) music styles on this double, precious gem. Ex-All My Faith Lost… co-founder Francis Gri collected over 110 minutes of superb music, mixing different influences to his own research.

The link with his original band has become thin, but it's even emotionally stronger now. Apart’s music is delicate, romantic, with ardent and melancholic soundscapes, subtle arrangements, dark piano parts, female and male vocals, cinematic instrumental pieces and cold ambient tracks, unforgettable melodies and sophisticated sound-structures. Fans of pure, high quality ethereal music, ambient and dark wave, you’ll love “Winter Fragments”!

We are enthusiastic about this release, and we recommend it to anyone into ethereal darkwave, early Black Tape For A Blue Girl, Cocteau Twins, instrumental post-rock, Labradford, Stars Of The Lid, Björk and soundtrack-like ambient music.

Music and arrangements: Francis Gri; male vocals: Daniele Crovato; female vocals: Lilium; cello: Martina Bertoni; drums: Maximilian Bremer.

Limited editions of 175 copies only.

NOCTURNE "Vers Le Vide" CD (FM13)

Limited to 600 copies, digi-file sleeve. File under: martial industrial, experimental, dark ambient.

After some CDs and vinyl releases on Steinklang, Tesco, Old Europa Café and other international labels, Nocturne is back with this masterpiece of sumptuous sadness and powerful melancholy.

Memories in black and white and drums of war collide in one of the best Nocturne's works to date. “[…] This is, at first, music of rumbling, explosion, deflagration, mute threat, creating a feeling of tension that can't be solved, an atmosphere of imminent disaster constantly renewed. And yet, from this magma that bubbles with saturation, telluric electronic shocks and full drones, soon emerge more aerial forms - sometimes sharper ones, mostly suggested rather than really asserted, arising and moving in evanescent ways. This orientates the tracks, in a measured yet undeniable way, to a new direction as the music evolves. […] A music thus embodying the unity of opposites, giving us the perception of a struggle between what's burrowed and what arises, between annihilation and the revelation of a hidden light, existing perhaps after all, beyond the void...” Eric Duboys, May 2009.

SOGLIA DEL DOLORE "2984" CD (FM12)

80's Italian punk heroes are back: new songs, new line up, new sound! 15 new, great, powerful tracks plus a few re-recorded old anthems.

If you are into Crass, early-Killing Joke, C.C.C.P., Rivolta dell'Odio, Theatre Of Hate, Italian early-80's wave and U.K. peace/anarcho-punk, you really need this album. Vocals by Francis Tami, radio DJ, music writer and one-off collaborator on In The Nursery album “Lingua”.

Limited edition of 500 copies, digipak.

APART "Across The Empty Night" CD (FM11)

Apart is the music project of Francis M. Gri, "Across The Empty Night" is his official debut album, after a few private demo CDs. Francis has been a member and co-founder of the well-known ethereal Italian act All My Faith Lost…, until the band's official first release, "In A Sea, In A Lake, In A River...Or In A Teardrop".

"Across The Empty Night" is a fabulous dark album, acquiring new influences and developing sound structures. The songs alternate male (by Daniele Stefanuto and Alberto Milani) and female vocals (by Viola Roccagli of All My Faith Lost...), building a bridge between Francis Gri’s ethereal past and his current moody identity.

Fans of obscure dark / ethereal sounds, Projekt Records releases, cloudy post-rock, Antimatter and – of course – All My Faith Lost… will 100% love this album!

Limited edition of 500 copies, digipak.

"The Laughing Torso" features trumpet extravaganza by DBPIT and vocals by the artist Val Denham. Angst industrial / experimental music.

Limited edition of 500 copies, digipak.

WE WAIT FOR THE SNOW "Lullabies From Our Dreams" CD (FM09)

We Wait For The Snow was born in the Winter season of 2004/05.

The founding member of the project is Andrea Penso, already active with Selaxon Lutberg and the label Cold Current, helped by friend Simone Zuccolin.

The sound is deliberately lo-fi, and is made exclusively with inexpensive instruments: acoustic and electric guitars, cheap keyboards, accordion, Farfisa organ, various non-musical objects, flute, toys, percussions, tapes ... Moments of sheer improvisation alternate with much more controlled tracks, as the aim is to create a confidential atmosphere through a balance between "dream" and "sadness".

"Lullabies From Our Dreams" is the band's first official album, with songs about dreams, lullabies and tales from the forest, stones, wood, leaves, dead men, big trees, and girls who speak with demons... For lovers of raw, occult and lo-fi recordings, Fursaxa, Troum, Current 93, Jackie O'Motherfu**er, Islaja, drone music, neo psych-folk, folk noir, field recordings, concrete noise and acoustic melodies.

Beautiful digi-sleeve, limited edition of 600 copies.

MARIAE NASCENTI "Raise Your Paw To The Sky And Break The Truce" CD (FM07)

Second an long awaited Mariae Nascenti's album on Final Muzik.

Produced by Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo (Larsen), "Raise..." is, without any doubt, the best recorded work by Mariae Nascenti to date: pain, loneliness, imagination, dreams, blood, souls and flesh collide in this emotional, wonderful album.

You can file it under (some) Coil or Current 93 early recordings, or it could remind you a few Nurse With Wound song-oriented chapters. "Raise..." unfolds a tabula rasa of feelings through otherworldly melodies, "found" songs, silences, sudden spoken texts, nightmarish soundtracks and cold, nocturnal music for our memories in black and white.

Limited edition of 1.200 copies, digipak, including a video-track and a mini-booklet. It features musicians from Larsen, Northgate, Blind Cave Salamander, Femina Faber / Ludmila, DsorDNE, and many other artists and Mariae Nascenti’s friends: Final Muzik says "Thanks!" to all of you for this amazing album.

TEXT OF LIGHT "Un Pranzo Favoloso" CD (FM05)

The CD album by Text Of Light, "Un Pranzo Favoloso" has been recorded on 26th May 2005 at Auditorium Concordia in Pordenone (Italy) during the "Schermo Sonoro - Cinemazero" festival. I

n this incredible concert Lee Ranaldo, Alan Licht, Tim Barnes and Ulrich Krieger played on Stan Brakhage experimental movies.

The band explores the concept of soundtrack and creates something new out of it, a "sonic continuum" between music and film, where Stan Brackage's pictures become sounds.

Amazing.

TEHO TEARDO - "Tower / Microphone" CD (FM04)

Worldwide known for his movie scores (“Il Divo”, “La Ragazza Del Lago”, “Diaz”...just to name a few), his solo projects, his band Meathead and for many collaborations with international artists (Blixa Bargeld, Lydia Lunch, Mick Harris, Nurse With Wound, Erik Friedlander and...countless others), Italian artist Teho Teardo started 30+ years ago in the industrial scene and then moved on to develop his sound research through different artistic fields.

Commissioned by the Contemporary Art Festival Hic Et Nunc in 2005, "Tower / Microphone" is a precious album of ambient music and field recordings. Music for tower (!) and microphones: the tower - through its microphones, via Teho Teardo - listens, whispers and plays.

1. “T/M”

2. “Fifteen Minutes Without Ego”

3. “New Trio Four”

4. “I've Seen A Bear”

For the recordings 1 and 2, twenty-four (!!!) contact mics were placed on the roof, on the walls, between the bricks, and under the ground of the ancient tower of "Ospedale Dei Battuti", at San Vito al Tagliamento (PN), Italy. The twenty-four mics were plugged into a PA system that turned the tower into a big mic. The tower/mic's sonic identity and sound relation with the environment was then affected by manipulating the volume faders and several analog filters connected to the PA system.

Teho Teardo: guitar, Rhodes, electronics, mics.

Edition of 1.000 copies.
